What a Bird Taught Me About Curiosity, Creation, and Consciousness

Sep 14, 2025

This week I was sitting on my sofa, phone in hand, doing what most of us do without even thinking: scrolling.

  The world felt loud.

  The eclipse was energy-heavy.

And like many of us, I was being pulled into the vortex, consuming, consuming, consuming.

Even if the content was somehow ‘positive,’ and I was doing my best to consume it ‘consciously,’ it still left me a little more drained, a little less present.

Then it happened.

A bird came to my window and sat there, looking in.

At first, I barely noticed ( they visit me all the time), but this one didn’t just flutter and go.

He tilted his head, studied me, and lingered with this funny curiosity. ( Pigeons are curious like cats, maybe a little bit funnier)

The more I looked, the more it felt like he wanted a conversation.

So I started talking to him.

I told him what I was working on.

I shared some of the highlights of my life as if he were an old friend stopping by.

And he stayed there,  still, curious, listening. Looking at me with eyes that seemed to say, “Girl, just chill. There is more to life than this.”

I even took a picture because I couldn’t believe how much life was pouring out of such a simple encounter.

In just a few minutes with that bird, I felt more alive than in any hour I’ve spent scrolling.

That moment reminded me of something so simple we often forget: curiosity.

Curiosity has an energy of life’s invitation.

It’s what pulls us out of a regular state, to a new one.

The bird was curious about me.

 And in return:

He made me curious about life again.

Curious about what happens when we put the phone down.

Curious about what new doors open when we follow the little nudges that seem weird, random, or insignificant.

Because curiosity, no matter how small or weird, always leads somewhere meaningful.

Think about it: every dream, every business, every relationship, every piece of art starts with a spark of curiosity.

  “What if I tried this?”

“What would happen if I went there?”

“What could this become if I went all in?”

Most people dismiss those sparks or ideas.

  They scroll past them.

  They bury them in routines.

  They label them as “weird.”

But the ones who follow them? They discover life.

They stumble into paths that are not only fulfilling but uniquely theirs.

And in a world that seems to be a copy of a copy of a copy, it felt like an answer to something inside of me.

Not only can curiosity unlock this uniqueness that we’ve been born with, but it also unlocks our true individuality, the one that no Agent GPT can replicate.

And I truly believe the future belongs to these individuals.

Not the ones going against AI.

Not the ones cloning themselves with AI.

Not the ones delegating their minds to AI.

But the ones who are embracing both.

The ones who can see the fine line between digging into who you truly are, and connecting with your soul that no machine can do, and between letting go of this ego trip of ‘ Not using AI’.

In simple words, it’s the fine line between:

Being conscious enough to use their human minds to think and create.

Yet being Sovereign enough to build AI systems that free their time.

The proof is in this letter.

No one on this earth can replicate the authenticity of this Pigeon story and the lesson behind it. And I think that’s the split that’s happening on a consciousness level.

Those drifting in this loop of consumption, re-creating the same news/value.

And the ones staying present, embracing their uniqueness, and then channelling that truth into creation.

Right now, we might not 100% be able to differentiate the 2 types of creators, but with time, it’s going to compound, and the energetic essence is going to be felt ( more than ever)

There would be:

1 The ones looking inward, then creating outward.

2 And the ones looking outward, and then validating the false narrative inward.

In other words:

The ones writing from their truth

The others? Writing from a fragment of a false identity.

For now, only time will tell.

But if you’re into 100% AI creative delegation ( or worse, be a copycat of someone else) so you can wash your dishes and do your laundry, this might be your sign to look within, stay present, and be curious again.

That’s the path towards sovereignty

See you next week.

PS: The birdie came in again ( on Wednesday- ruled by Mercury, the lord of messages)  to visit me, and we had a great laugh this time. He kept reminding me again and again that the message you’re looking for is not outside of you, it’s within.
